Workshop Description

In this workshop you will learn how Oracle R12's new E-Business Tax impacts Oracle Financials. You will learn the basic setups of E-Business Tax and how those setups affect the tax outputs. You'll discover how to use the E-Business tax screens to setup new tax regimes, statuses, and jurisdictions. During the workshop you will enter a sample invoice in the AP module to see how the appropriate taxes are calculated on an invoice.

By the end of the course you will be able to:
  • Determine how tax setups in Oracle E-Business Tax impact financial modules
  • Set up basic tax configurations in Oracle E-Business Tax
  • Apply taxes to an invoice
